Quick Update: 30 Day Squat Challenge 2

I’m on day 10 of the squat challenge!

I’ve found that although I love exercising in the mornings, I have to do this squat challenge at night before bed because I’m exhausted and weak after doing them. I’ve really started to push myself with this challenge, in a good, healthy way! Did I mention I got some weights?  I figured doing squats with just my body weight wouldn’t really get me far, so I got some weights off craigslist (yes to being frugal).  I was fortunate to find a family that was selling exactly what I wanted and they were only 10 minutes from where I live, so it was a no brainer, got these babies for a real friendly price of $40…for ALL OF THEM!


I keep all the free weights outside in my backyard as shown, and I keep the weighted bar in my room next to my bed, making it really easy for me to stick to the challenge.  I’ll be sure to update at the end of the 30 days with pics, be on the lookout for my extra toned/strengthened lower half (hopefully)!

The challenge is going well so far, my legs feel like linguine right after I do them, but the next day they are fine, no soreness or anything as of yet. Are you doing any exercise challenges/regimens?
