I recently finished reading Entreleadership by Dave Ramsey. It’s the first how-to business book I’ve read, and I think I’ll eventually read it again once I get to a point where I really starting to build my business.
The book was a very easy and enjoyable read, just as Ramsey’s The Total Money Makeover was. Ramsey has a knack for really making sure his books are personal. He takes anecdotes from his personal experience as well as other business owners’ personal experiences when explaining his reasoning for doing things a certain way.
I must admit, when I first got the book I thought it was going to tell you literally how to start a business (i.e. go here, get this form, go there, get this form) but it wasn’t like that at all. The book really stresses what you need to be a great leader and entrepreneur and the decisions you need to make for that happen. I was very impressed with the amount of thought put into this book regarding company culture and regards to employees satisfaction.
